What is the maximum depth at which the Spotter will detect the implant?
The Spotter can detect implants at a depth of up to 5 mm. in gum tissue and 2 mm. in bone.
Will the Spotter detect any implant?
The Spotter will detect all metal implants of any brand or design, the
Spotter will not detect Zirconium implants.
The patient’s jaw is wide, how can I find the implant?
To improve precision of implant detection in wide jaws, perform additional
cross-scanning in Buccal-Lingual direction.
When do I need to replace the sensor head?
We recommend replacing the sensor after 10 sterilization cycles.
What type of power source does the Spotter utilize?
The Spotter operates using a single 1.5V AA alkaline battery.
